putting top back up?

im a noob to this jeep stuff and just trying to learning everything the right way...it seems when im putting the top back up that it is a real pain to get all the plastic to pop back in on the two side back windows...are there any secrets or tips and tricks to make putting the top back up easier and quicker?
thanks

zip the windows half way then pop all the plastic in, and then continue to zip up the windows the rest of the way

Actually I just get the zipper started (like only an inch!!!) then I do the vertical plastic retainer (the one behind the door), then I zip the rest of the way, then I do the bottom retainer starting at the back and going forward.

First time I went to put my top up, it took me and a friend about 45 minutes. I've got it down to 10 minutes or less now by myself. Just takes practice and experimentation.

i zip an inch or so like bradg, then front plastic, then bottom plastic, then zip all the way. the most important thing i've noticed is to store the windows flat and not let them get deformed while they are being stored. the deformation creates tension when you go to zip them in. this took me 4 or 5 top up/downs to realize... i'm kinda slow

oh and put a key ring through the zipper pull tab thing.

Yep, first couple of times I just rolled mine up and stuck them in the back of the jeep. Bad idea. I always keep them flat now.

sometimes unclasping the front clamps (but leaving them hooked in) gives you the extra bit of slack you need to get the back retainers in.

I always hook my top latches in the front but dont close them.. then zip an inch or two on the side window and put in the front retainer.. zip across the top and then do the bottom retainer.. as for the back 1/4 pieces you can pull down slightly on the top bow after you have the front latches hooked and those will pop right in.. then you can slide them either direction easily to zip in the sides or the back.. once you get all the windows in then I close the front latches and pop the plastic strips in above the windows.
