Putting my cowl back on...

I've been trying for days now to put my cowl back on. I slip it over the two wiper blade mounts (don't know the official name) and try to push the front end down, but the rubber weatherstripping closest to the engine bay keeps getting in the way. Even with two people and a roll of duct tape, we cannot hold down the rubber to let the cowl sit flush! Especially in the middle of the cowl where it is hard to reach...

How did you guys manage to put your cowl back on? Mine is extremely stubborn and doesn't want to go on any way I try. Maybe there is some type of "trick" that I'm missing. (At least I hope it's that easy)

The "trick" is to pull the weather stripping off, screw in the cowl, then push the weather stripping back on. There is no glue or mounting hardware holding it on, so you won't damage anything by pulling it off
