Project TJ on a Highschool Budget

This is my TJ she is a 1997 wrangler sport origonally teal when my buddy got it. I helped him put a 4" Rough Country lift into it. And it looked like this

Then he was an idiot and spray painted it flat black and he wheeled the piss out off it.

When he blew the NP231 he was finally tired of it and i traded him my 1983 CJ 7 for the TJ

Now i have the Jeep and have started putting on some smart upgrades, he took his 32's so i put my 33's on there, added adjustible JKS track bars front and rear, Blue Torch front bumper, M8000 Warn Winch, Smittybuilt rear bumper, Rokmen adjustible UCA (after i broke both my front uppers and blew the lower off the axle) I will update the build often. Don't have a current pic because my jeep is all apart but i will post some pics of her on two tires.

Looks like a pretty solid rig...what axles are under it? I would consider adding lockers/upgrading the axles if you plan on wheeling it seriously. And, with the mods you have already purchased, it seems your high school budget is more leniant on expenses that most of our "40 hour a week" budgets...lol

That budget is like 150 a week with some good credit haha. Yeah it is going to get like D44's with 4.56's at some point but right now just the stock D35 for now and a HP D30 going in tommorrow.

Pulled the front axle out and I got a whole bunch of new parts in too. I found some bad news though when I was taking the axle out, I bent the passenger side LCA mount on the frame which sucks. Here are some pics of the new parts and how she sits currently with no front axle

but on the bright side I got my new parts in and I upgraded those wimpy UCAs

And now a bumper so that I can have a recovery point in the rear. Not bad for 99 bucks

That was my first thought, even when I wash my jeep before working on it, I still have to much mud falling and hitting me in the face! Have fun with that one

I'd like to see pics of it clean.

Oh and you should really consider getting some jack stands.
