Well, I got the one for the rear broke down and unloaded off of the trailer today. The ujoints are friggin huge, I love it. The oicture is a 16oz monster can next to it for size comparison. Anyways, after getting the center section out, I found that it was in fact NOT spooled. Also, it looks like it might have been rebuilt a while ago and never had oil in it. It deffinately had water though. I will be breaking down the other one next weekend. I think it might actually be spooled because when we tried to roll it, each tire would not turn independently of each other.

Well, I managed to get a few things done over the weekend. First off, I broke down the other axle. Good news is, it is welded as is the rear, so I was wrong on that. Bad news is that it has the undesirable axle shafts, so I will be trying to find some used ones to get. My self and my father in law got the cage started also. Got the A and B pillars done and tacked together. I am hoping next weekend there will be alot more progress.

Well, got a little more done today. Will work on it again tommorrow and hopefully get alot more of the back half done... I will be adding a few more tube pieces to the top of the roll cage also. They will be in a diamond shape in the center, between the hoops..

Added a few more tubes today. Next weekend I hope to raise the motor and tranny up so that I will have better clearance for the rocks.

Well, got a little more accomplished today. I finished gutting the inside, cut out the tunnel and raised the motor up ALOT. IN the pics you can see that the stock truck oil pan now sits less than an 1" below the frame. Had to build new motor mounts to accomplish it. Also, I will be cutting the hood to aloow for the height of the motor, but it will be caged, so I can sheet the cage to cover it up. I actually took this from a build on pirate4x4.

lol... yah... that's a lot to start, and then just decide you don't want to do it anymore and sell everything... so weird.
