Yeah that guy builds some pretty sweet jeeps. I've seen a couple of them on the Ultimate Adventure.

Auto tranny swap kit

Looks like fun.

Where did you get the auto tranny swap kit? I need one for my hemi swap with the 5-45RFE.

I bought the kit, as well as many other things from Evan at:
http://www.backwoodsoffroad.com/

He is also doing my wiring harness.

Thanks

I will order one asap. I didn't look too deeply into the backwoods site as it was mainly for the older swaps. Many thanks for the info; the kit contains contains exactly what I needed.

I'm pretty sure all he does is late model stuff.
He's a few hours from me & I have been out there a few times.
All I have ever seen or heard about at his place was TJ's.

If you cleaned the welds off with a wire brush it would be easier to get a look, although my opinion wouldn't matter, i haven't welded much, but it would be easier to see how much penetration there is.
You said you are building mid arms? whats the reasoning behind that, more clearance?

Well, clearance is one good reason.
I will be running 3" of lift, Max - longarms would hit the frame on uptravel.
I think this all in all will be the best setup for my intentions with this rig.
