She lives !! . . . In a very nice trailer.
Brandon Foster of Crawl mag seemingly forgotten how to use the hood stand
Seeing him standing in front of it, should give some scope of it's overall height.
3" on 37's

YouTube - Firing the 5.2 in my TJ

In other news, we burnt some shackle mounts onto badonkadonk.

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.

Well, it's been a turbulent saga - alas land is in sight.
Having been unemployed for a year & a half really put a crimp on things . . .
Got the rig back from Those Guys Rods & Customs & almost immediately decided to out it under the knife again. The truss & diff cover were interfering with the gas tank, the rear shock were beaten & done, etc - so out came the man tools . . .
I figure this forum likely benefits the most from this tech anyhow

So, I got the rig back & drove it around abit like so:

Then we began to address above issues.
While we were cutting it up - It was decided we might as well get some more WB out of it too . . . The Driveshaft Pat built was at full compression, so a few inches could likely be eeked out of it.

Made some room:

Notched, then re-notched the gas skid:

One of the helpers bringin' the heat:

Lowers extended, sleeved, then burned - we decided to lengthen & sleeve them from the center, because of the added length, 2 1/2':

We also shortened the uppers by an inch & a quarter - to accommodate the forward angle of the truss, but just since we were shortening, decided to remove the rod adapter, chop & replace:

Truss rotated, test fit, then finalized:

Chopping a hole in the frame:

Sorry for the shabby pic quality, poor lighting + camera phone = fail.
Burned the F250 mounts, notice the Mr.Blaine mod, notching the rear so that we have a shelf to index it off of & then also have a weld all around. As well as the relocated stock upper coil bucket:

A little paint;

Trimmed the excess flush with the frame;

Shock mounted !

I decided I wanted to re-use my stock sound bar - as I'm striving for a clean, functional, stockish interior

Pulled the cover off, propositioned it about where I wanted it, marked some lines & chop !

I also lined the back side with an Marine Corps Isomat I had lying about - hopefully it helps insulate the sound abit.

And test fit - I'm gonna use self-tappers to secure it down on eitherside;

Also. painted the modded skid in preparation for it's return to the heeps rear;

Should be swapping the pump & such over, tossing some gas in it & taking it for a quick spin - updates to come.

Awesome. I dream of a photoshoot someday with Crawl. Maybe someday.

I'm ready for some wheeling pics. You can sell a lot of plasma in a year and a half. Quit ****ing around and get it wheeling! Lol

love the rig James. youve done some awesome work. maybe you should come down my way and help me burn in some new mid-arms and a flat skid. i plan on going up one more inch from my current 2" and doing a hiline. i need to find a hi30 at minimum before i can start that though. i dont want to waste my time on my lo30 at the moment.

since starting at wyotech here in sac ive come across a couple d44 rears that would work so im really motivated to get my **** going.

keep up the good work. keep us posted.

Thanks Dood - I really appreciate it, will do with the updates !!
Fly me down, feed me, house me & I'll play shop slave !
Sounds like a solid plan - FYI I got my HP30 housing, in trade for stock steering.
How ya liking Wyotech, hows the curriculum ?
Seems like a pretty enthralling line of study
