the front hub for the 03 TJ is 169 which isn't good since I think i need to possibly replace one.

Hey Matt, nice looking build......

I have to ask you, it looks like you had 3/4" clearance before you added more to the cover, how big is the JCR shaft in diameter? We haven't had any clearance problems that weren't toe related?

no i got a new drive shaft because the stock driveshaft outside diameter is like 3 in and was 1/4 -1/2 of hitting the fulltraction skid plate.

Gravel maker
the problem occuried whenthe sterring was at full lock towards the driveside.
the jcr steering is 1 1/4 o.d.

Did you have to paint your Tie ROD on your JCR setup. I just got mine and cant tell if the rod itself is bare metal or if it has paint on it. Im thinking of spraying some rustoleum either way.

Hey man ive almost got to the point i can fab my brackets lol. I decided to herculine my bed the same day the seats showed up so its delaying the process but heres a picture of mine mocked up on the stock sliders. They look pretty nice in there and even just sitting how they are in the jeep they are super comfortable.

I made my drivers side last night .. i ended up angling the bracket a bit because if you look at the slider its cocked sideways in the tub. I think the factory seats bracing are sideways a bit too under the skin to straighten out the seat. Ill post pictures of mine tonight .. but its the same basic idea as yours, but with a little more bracing (i was worried about jouncing up and down from off road use and having structural issues with weight in the seat. Looks good though.

yeah i havent put my doors back on yet to check it .. but with the seat in there it appears that the doors will have enough clearance. Being that my 80lb doors are hanging up in my garage about 8 ft up the wall is making me annoyed knowing i have to take them back down again.

Ill have to check everything and see how it clears .. worst case scenario ill just drill holes in different orientations on the brackets to manipulate the seat side to side and front to back.

Luke

EDIT..

I re-read your post .. my brackets are still offset to the center .. the angle i was speaking of (drivers side point of view) is the front of the slider is closer to the drivers side of the tub than the rear .. from behind making it look like " \ " .. rather than " | " head on.. because upon first mock up my seats where angled out like " \ / " slightly on each side because i had set them on the sliders so they were parallel with the brackets.
