Power Outlet / Cigarette Lighter not working

My power outlet and cigarette lighter are not working in my 05 TJ...I check the fuse and it has power and they are both plugged in. Any ideas?

Ground? Are you getting power to the outlet?

i only checked the fuse behind the glove box but after reading some posts on here, it looks like there may be 2 others under the hood to also check

They are on separate fuses. Power outlet fuse 17 (PDC under hood). cig lighter fuse 18 in block behind glove box. The power outlet has battery power, the lighter only with key on/acc. Make sure the black wires are grounded.

I found a blown 20 amp power fuse in the fuse box under the hood...replaced it and now my power outlet works but cigarette lighter still doesn't. I looked inside it and the contacts are very rusty. Gonna try to clean the contacts today with some sand paper and see if it works.

I had a similar issue with mine. I actually just spun my phone charger around in there repeatedly until the LED(on the charger) stayed on. Guess it was corroded
