Pocket Style Fender Flares
Has anyone tried the less expensive versions of the pocket style fender flares, such as the smittybuilts. Is the bushwackers worth that much more. thanks

You can't get any worse than the Bushwhackers, they're molded from such a brittle crack/breakage-prone plastic that who knows, maybe the knockoffs are better.

Had three sets before I upgraded to Warn. Not as brittle as bushwackers, but definitely cheap stuff. The warn may not look as good but they give better clearance. How tough are they? My wife ran into the back of another car with the right front fender. Bent the fender and pulled the screws through the flares but absolutely no damage to the flare. A BF rubber hammer and a little time and all was as good as new.

Yeah I've had two sets of Warn flares, 7" then 6", and they held up to everything and anything with no real damage. If Bushwhacker would change their material to something like Warn uses, they'd have a winner.
