Plug Wires on 2.5L

Just replaced the plug wires on my 4cyl and may have mixed two of them up at the distributor.

Does this matter and can anyone tell me (or maybe have a photo of) the proper configuration?

Yes it matters. If you got two or more wires mixed up your firing order will be off. This means that a cylinder could be firing when it is not supposed too. Have you ran it yet? If so I bet it ran rough and threw a code.

No, not going to run it until I make sure I have it set right. Did one wire at a time, but one of them slipped off when I wasn't looking so I just want to make sure I set it back up right.

OK, found that the firing order is 1342, and that the number 2 cyl wire is placed at the position closest to the block

Ran it for a couple of minutes and it sounds smooth with no error codes.
