plasti-dip 97 Sahara wheels

good idea or bad??

the reasoning is because i want the finish that was on the TJ Rubicon wheels

Awesome idea. I just finished my 2000 stock TJ wheels and I love them. I did them slowly so I got a textured feel. If you do heavier coats, they seem to come out more smooth. The finish was nice and durable, and the best part is that you can peel it off if you don't like it. Since there's no need to sand your wheels, they look good as new if you peel it off. I don't know what finish was on the TJ Rubicon wheels, but I did mine in black.

It was a silver color. The Sahara color was like shiny metallic silver (I think)
