Phase 1 underway

Well I went over to the local Jeep mod shop tonight and finalized the phase 1 build up of my Jeep. My wallet is a lot lighter now but I think I am going to be very happy when it is done, well done for now. Just thought I would share.

JKS upper and lower control arms
JKS track bars
3” Springs
3” Shocks
SwayLock swaybar, air actuated
1.25” JKS BL
MML
Terraflex BellyUp skid plate
SYE
CV drive shaft
Re-gear front axle to 4.88
New D44 rear axle with ARB Locker
ARB Compressor kit
BFG AT 33”x10.5
Atx Chamber 3965 wheels
Super Swampers LTB 34"x10.5
Soft 8 wheels

Once it is done (hopefully in a month or two) I will post before and after pics.

Nice hardware. You've obviously done your homework. I'm guessing phase II includes 60's and 42" rubbers on a 14" WB stretch? JK
Be sure to post pics before/after.

It is a pricey build but after doing over a year of research and saving it worked out in my favor to do it all at once. This way I am not doing stuff like dropping the rear axel twice or working on get vibrations out several times.
I am going nuts already though waiting for parts, the axle may take a month to get. The guy I am ordering it from however also has a CJ guy ordering a similar axel so he is hoping to get them to not only give a little discount but get them out faster. This weekend if the weather holds I am going to take a lot of before pics. Going to go with the basic poser shots and put a tape measure up to it to gauge actual height increases, do you guys have any suggestions on other pics I should take?

did i read it right that you're getting 2 sets of wheels and tires? i'm guessing 1 for street and 1 for trail? sounds like a good build, jumping right in to what you want instead of doing multiple stages to get there

Yup I am getting two sets of tires and wheels. The trails around me get really muddy and slick and people have found to get a decent tire for the trail and still be ok for road use the balancing becomes a huge issue. So with this setup I have an awesome tire for the trails and a really good all season tire for the DD. The trail set should also last me quite a few years seeing how they will not see much pavement. (just hope I don't slice them right off the bat)
