Penetrol Tip

Whats up guys. I am new to the forum, but I got the great tip here the other day to try Penetrol on the flares. I did it and WOW is all I can say, it looks great. I notices some people say they get some gray spots still on their flares after thay apply the penetrol...It sounds to me like it could be something on the flare preventing the pentrol from soaking in or something. Before I applied the penetrol to my flares I gave them a good washing and then cleaned them with a little acetone. I figured if there was any oil or anything on the flares this would get it off. Everything came out looking great! I think this may have prevented any spots.

I was forced to Fusion mine the other day from some new beauty marks from an oak. Can I put Penetrol on them after using the Fusion or is this a bad idea?

This stuff is almost like putting laquer on them. It basically just makes it look like its wet or just armor-all'ed. I would wager if you put them on your painted flares, it would make them look like wet painted flares.
