Thanks lol it was his Jeep and he asked for my help so I wanted to make sure I did a good job. When I did mine I didnt cover the hood and got a lot of overspray on it. It didnt take but 30 mins. to tape it up with 2 people. I thought everyone would get a kick out of that pic though.

Ahhh, must have been done outside with a bit wind blowing? Nothing a clay bar couldn't take care of in 10 minutes though

Nice taping job. Wasted that Krylon on the jugs though. Should have just taken them off and thrown them in the trash.

DAMN. Now that's a unique jeep... should'a just cut out around the windows and plastered it all for good... lol.
[just kidding]
Nice job nonetheless, and I second the idea of hammering off them milkjugs.
And I also love the Jeep's factory color, muy bueno. Tell him to take off the bra.

Reminds me of Chrismas time when I was a kid. Mom use to wrap our gifts in newspaper.....*sigh*
That would have been cool to see THAT thing under the tree.

Trust me I have no jugs and tried to talk him into it but he wasnt feeling I dont guess. He has not yet succumbed to the ways of JF.
EDIT: Oh and just a little FYI. When I painted my flares a while back I couldnt find any fusion so I just used plain old rustoleum satin which has worked out fine and still looks great. I just wanted to add that I got over 5 coats from one can of the rustoleum but barely got 2 from the first can of Fusion. For anyone who hasnt done it just be prepared and buy 2 cans. Fusion is very very dusty.

Did mine today.......but I took mine off. I'm glad I did take them off so I could clean behind them. I can't see all that taping when it only takes about 10 minutes to get each flare off.

Well first off, im going to use this as an oppurtunity to complain about my damn jeep... Literally every nut and bult i try and remove gives me a hard time... The heads either strip or the thread of the bolt just becomes stripped and it spins... idk what the deal is...
but n e ways, Today i put these on... http://www.quadratec.com/products/12534_300.htm
Intstructions said to take off the flares, or prop them back... I could only get one bolt out...
Im ginna opt with tape and paint method...

Well I tried the first time I did it and apparently spun whatever little insert was in the body on the first one so I quit. Not to mention its a backbreaker for those 10 minutes you spend under there. I think ill just stick to taping.
