Here are some pictures from the last time I painted my flares. Unfortunately, I proceeded to go out and get them all scratched up about a week later before I got a picture of them on my Jeep.

I have an auto body shop in the family where I had Rubi flares painted black and clear coated.

i just did mine yesterday with the krylon fusion. they came out great. i also sprayed the black around the windows on the doors cause that faded. it makes it look ten times better.

justtaped off and sprayed it on. i bought to cans, had my wife helping me. still have some left, but did about 4 coats.

**edit, also make sure you clean them up pretty good before hand. mine bubbled a bit because of armor all from when it was detailed last year. i've heard to use amonia based stuff on them first, but i'm not sure what's best to try to get the armor all off.

Don't paint them. Use a heat gun.

If you do paint them make sure to clean them well with ammonia glass cleaner so you don't get the fish eye look going.
Also make sure to use Fusion paint made for plastic. It leaves a nice texture and is not too shiny.
But a heat gun is better.
