P0421 Code

Hey Guys,

Just bought an 06 Rubicon... Drove it for about 200 miles and then the check engine light came on. I cycled the ignition key three times and got the "P0421" Code which has to do with the catalytic converters. Funny thing is... I don't have any cats (I'm in Canada, no emissions testing.) Is there a way to permantly disable this code? I don't want the engine light to stay on, as I would like to be alerted about any real issue.

Any help would be great.

You could try something like this, one for each downstream O2 sensor.

What? I've never heard of that? That can't be true?
Just because you don't do emissions testing doesn't mean Chrysler is letting for fog up the northern hemisphere. In Minnesota we don't do emissions testing either, but both my Jeeps have cats.
Just saying, not trying to be a a'hole.

Haha.... I worded it wrong. The catalytic converters no longer reside anywhere near the exhaust system. I believe they were sold to a salvage yard!
