My Jeep threw a code for an oxygen sensor the other day, and my gas mileage has really dropped. I am getting ready to order new sensors from Sparkplugs.com, and I just want to make sure I order the right ones. This is for a 2002 w/ four sensors.
I am assuming I need
FRONT OE identical O2 sensor Cylinders 1,2,3
FRONT OE identical O2 sensor Cylinders 4,5,6
REAR OE identical O2 sensor Cylinders 1,2,3
REAR OE identical O2 sensor Cylinders 4,5,6
Anyone know why the FRONT OE identical O2 sensor for Cylinders 4,5,6 is almost double the price of the other three?
The code was P0138, so I know it's one of the downstream sensors. Would it hurt to replace just the downstream sensors for now, or am I better off replacing all four? I've got about 87K on the odometer.
