Output seal

I forgot what brand SYE I have on my Jeep. Well the output seal started leaking and I need to know will a standard output seal from Auto zone fit or do I need something special?

Sent from my phone where grammar isn't easy.

Part number 470331N will work if your SYE is rugged ridge. At least according to some other forums. I looked it up bc my SYE output seal is leaking also.

That's the thing, I can't remember who makes my SYE.

Try a pinions seal for a Dana 20 that's what I used on a RR SYE and an AA SYE.

I wrote RR (who I think makes my kit) and in less than 2 mins I got an email back.

Hey Randy,

You can use an AMC20 pinion seal from any local parts store, otherwise you can order the 18676.62 seal which is our exact replacement.

I have a TeraFlex SYE. The output seal for the rear yoke leaked in only several hundred miles. It turned out my pinion angle wasn't dialed in, which caused vibrations, that prematurely wore out the seal. Not sure if this is relevant to you or not.
