Oil level and suspension questions

Hi all,

Two questions:
First, my oil dipstick reads past full by 1/4 inch when I put 6 quarts in my 4.0l engine. (06 Unlimited Rubicon) My other car reads a half-quart low with the specified capacity fill. Is the stick off, or the capacity off? Should I re-mark the dipstick, or plan on putting in less oil? This is with a new stock filter, and after I've run the car for a while, shut it off and taken the measurement while the engine is warm.
Next question: There is a sway bar at the rear of my jeep with two arms that retain it in position. It is also tied to the rear axle at two points about a foot from the arms mentioned above. The bolts that hold the sway bar in place are tight, but there is a bit of lateral end play in the arms at the point where the sway bar is mounted to the arms. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance.

Mine reads a bit over full after putting in 6 quarts as well. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks all

I appreciate the feedback. I'm following your advice and I'll probably re-mark the dipstick as a personal reminder.

Thanks again,

Mike H.
