No additional advice for your Jeep, but in 8 more days, I will have been 18 years since I stepped on the Yellow Footprints . 2nd Batallion Golf Company.

Enjoy Paris Island, and remember your jeep when you are doing 8 count body builders on the Quarerdeck!

ETA: The physical stuff is just that: physical. They will build you up for it. The mental stuff is what breaks people. Just stay mentally strong, and you will be fine. And don't tell your Heavy to 'F-Off' like I did!

Go to Harbor Freight and get a "Float" Charger for thge battery-cost about 10 bucks. This will keep the battery charged w/o boiling out the water---also I would add Stabil in the gas--

Heh, thanks guys. I leave in exactly.... 4 hours for the recruiters office. Than up to MEPS in West Virginia for the night. Tomorrow morning, it's off to Parris Island for my 13 weeks of vacation in the swamp.

So far, I'm absolutely stoked (It'll be just like Boy Scout Camp!).

That may change when I get there though.

But again, thanks for the tips and the well wishes! Back on June 5th.

probably too late to catch ya.. (good luck with things)..... Rubber band a zip-lock bag over your funnel going into your filter box (keep the mice from bedding there).

If it has fasteners, I can take it apart.... Putting it back together is the real question.......
