OEM Airbox ?

Was there any changes on the OEM TJ Airbox for a 4.0L between model years? I'm looking to pick one up to go back to stock and the ones I'm seeing are from new models and I want to make sure they will fit on my 99TJ before the spend the $$$ on them.

Thanks
SW2

I sure haven't noticed any changes, they all look the same to me.

The trumpet serves a very specific purpose, in that it substantially increases the velocity of the air into the throttle body which substantially reduces engine noise. But neither it nor the air box ever cause the engine to not get enough air, even at wide-open-throttle and redline RPMs. Both can flow more air than the engine is capable of consuming or demanding.

That and if you point the trumpet away from fan, water/mud slinged up won't get in your airbox.

The funny thing about this signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything, it's too late for you to stop reading it.
