obd monitor warranty extended to life time

just got a letter from Chrysler today that the obd monitor warranty has been change from 3 years to lifetime on 05-06 wranglers.

if you have one of these and had a problem then here is a number to call Chrysler. 1877-426-5337

for only 05-06 wranglers....

Got mine too. Looks like I do have the obd not ready problem I wasn't aware of. No inspection here in MI but good to know anyway.

Got mine too. Haven't had any problems, but I'll file it away.

Filed mine with the original window sticker, bill of sale, etc. Hopefully I'll never need it!

mine came yesterday, i dont have emission so i really dont care. just put it with my receipts and stuff. heck i still have a recall jeep told me about something on the trans that could pop it in to gear or whatever i dont know. just told them if they send the parts ill fix it but no way in hell anyone at the local dealerships is touching my jeep. be nice to get a letter addressing the opda's and gas blowing back all over the place, you know the important things that could be dangerous.

I received a letter too, which I'll file it as well as I don't seem to have that problem. I was bummed that the OBD wasn't the OPDA, which I also find important.
