O/D Light Not Working & Check Engine Light On
Our daughters 03 Wrangler X with 30k miles on it had some issues today. She drove it to work fine this morning and when leaving this afternoon, her O/D light would not turn on. I told her not to worry about it and drive home without it figuring the fuse needed changing. She then called me in a panic and said her check engine light was on.
My husband was able to get a code off of it and it was P0700. Anyone ever have that happen? We cannot bring it to the dealer until Tuesday. ![]()

Well P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction
So that makes sense with the OD light not turning on, I'd say as long as it's driving fine not to worry about it until you take it to a dealer |

This morning I started it and pressed the O/D button and it worked, but check engine light was still on. I shut the jeep off and restarted it and tried the O/D button again and it wouldn't go on . . .ugh . . . .guess its off to the dealer on Tuesday . . .
