NV241 Roc-Trac/NP231 Swap: What do I need?

I am considering swapping my NP231 TC for a 241 from a Rubicon. What will I need. I currently have done nothing to my TC and therefore still have the stock rear driveshaft. I know I will need a new rear driveshaft, but what will I need to make the front compatible. Also, are there any transmission compatibility issues (do I need any kind of adapters or will it bolt on)? At the same time I am planning on installing an Nth Degrre TT. Will this cause problems (I know i have to order the TT for the Rubicon)? I have a 1" BL and a 1" MML.

Thanks for the help and sorry for not searching (search down)! Hopefully it will be up and running soon!

Soon to be installed: Currie Antirock and new radiator

In negotiations with wife for (not going well): rocker guards, front bumper, winch, and full cage

My search on this same topic came up empty, except for this thread (from 2 years ago) that received no responses!

I've got a '98 TJ Sport, with the AX-15 5spd tranny and stock D35 rear end. I also own a "like new" Rubi rear drive shaft with balancing ring/plate, where it bolts to the output flange of the NV241 t/c. I know my tranny has 23-spline output. I've found a NV241 out of an '05 Rubi. Can anyone tell me if it would be a bolt-in replacement for my stock NP231, assuming I use the Rubi d/s? Or would I have to modify the "axle end" of the Rubi d/s, in order to mate it with my D35? Any other issues/concerns I should be aware of? (like skid plate, wiring connector for PCM, etc.).

Happy New Year!

first DO NOT get a Rubi skid. Get the skid for a 97-02. A Rubi skid won't bolt to your frame.
The TC should be a bolt up. Adjust the linkage as necessary or get the bracket from Advanced Adapters.
You will have DS changes. If you can get the Rubi shafts it's an easier swap

You have to order the tt for your vehicle not the t case, I did the same thing. I had to grind out the pinion yoke a little to get the u joints to fit, I didn't get the 1310 to 1330 adapter one. The front I am still using off my stock dana 30. I need to get another one, just waiting on the $$ to order one. You will want to get a new shaft for the rear, with the TT you will want a cv style one not the fixed one from a rubi. That is what I have and need to order a cv one this spring when I can. I am putting the TT in when it ever gets here, getting the same as you. I have bad vibes right now from my lift and going to get everything done if I ever get my TT. BTW I have a Dana 44 in the rear what do you have? It may be a little more difficult for a Dana 35, but not sure.
