This was before the rear Antirock. It still flexes about the same, but you can tell it is a little stiffer. It also drives much better on the street.
I had to install it on the other side of what the directions wanted. The way the shock towers were, would not allow it to go on that side. So I placed it on the other side of the axle. I have researched this, and I do not believe there is a lot of difference, as long as the connecting links are close to perpendicular to each other.

Exactly the info I have been looking for... Thanks!

I have the same situation and was wondering if that would work, obviously it works fine.

BTW, You got my vote last month.

Very nice. I like the attention to detail and how clean everything is. Keep up the good work!

Man, you really do a thorough cleaning. I keep the inside really clean, but the outside.... It really is a chore. It looks so nice!

I wouldnt waste my time on a sterling rearend, there isnt as many options for aftermarket parts like with a rear D60 or 14b. If it were me id stick to a D60 rear.

btw i like your jeep, i almost went rear radius arm on my old tj after seeing yours. I think im going to go mid arm on this one some day.

Thanks for the comment. The d60 rear end isn't that hard to find around here, and they don't seem to cost that much. I have seen several different ones from around 150.00 to 600.00. I would like to beef up the 8.8 and see how well it would hold 39.5 Iroks. Like with moser axles and c clip eliminators. I would also like to do a BTF diff cover and drill and tap it for carrier caps support. I know a guy that has cut several front 60s down. He said he would help me cut one down when I got one. Then all I would have to do is get an after market axle, or have the old one cut and re splined. I know there is a lot more to it than that, but thats the highlights of the plan.

You should here what my wife calls mine!

With every dollar spent the phrase gets longer, usually four letters at a time.

Ya I hear you. Mine says the only reason I want her to go on wheeling trips is so I have a photographer and videographer. She thinks I consider it a 3 way.
