Looking very good love the progress. I also wanted to mention that I have voted for you in every one of the TJOTM's. I Can't wait to see the end result.

Thanks, I am currently waiting on some brackets from Ballistic fab. I would have liked to have gotten the jeep a spot on the first TJOTM, but I will wait and resubmit it when I get done with the build. The hardest part of this is waiting on parts to come in. Thanks again.

you got my vote also. this is a sweet build. and knowing you and how perfect things have to be. this will be a great looking rig as well, not a cobbled up tj with truck axles. get it done. lets ride.

UPDATE, I got the d60 pretty much done. The brakes, bearings, hubs and axles, pinion seal, are in. I will start on the rear d70 soon. Here are some pics. I have a Ballistic fab high steer arm that will go on that passenger side, if they ever get here.

More later....

Ok. So I finally got the rear quarter guards, I had made the template for, back. So it was time to trial fit them and to do a little cutting.

Then to make sure these were still going to work.

Then I made a quick trip over to the drill press and drilled these holes, after deciding where I wanted them.

These bolts are temporary, I will get some that will be flush mount. I will have to get the bolts, then I can get the correct counter sink bit.

I then disassembled the quarter guards and then it was time to Say ello to my leetle freenz.

This is where it got real. No turning back.

Note: I moved the gas tank before grinding.

I also had to cut some of the inner fender, behind the fender well.

The above pic shows how far back the opening has been moved.

I will also reuse 2 of the factory fender flair holes, for mounting the quarter guards.
More later......

I like how well the guard matches up to the rock sliders, i hate when there is a random, odd shaped, gap.

Looks nice, cant way to see the end result

Thanks for the comment.

I also got my tracking number from Ballistic Fab today. Finally. That stuff is supposed to be here Friday. I am getting anxious. I hope to be able to get some more stuff done this weekend. I am looking forward to doing some welding.

AH ha, I knew that would come up. I will cut that bass terd off. No really, I think I will cut it and try to bend it slightly inward. If that doesn't work then I will cut it right there where the license plate dirt is, on the left side, straight down. Then I will plug the end?????
