Nobody will touch this with a ten foot pole....apparently

So im interested in installing a B &M Megashifter, in my 2006 Unlimited.....and i have a couple questions.

1. Has anyone done this mod before?

2. Is my transmission compatible for this mod....it says 727, 904, and 999 transmissions, but how do i know which i have

3. Will i have to modify my current center console setup??

from what i have read....nobody will respond to this thread.....im very interested in this mod, and would like some feedback......when i did a search, nobody responded, so any help is appreciated

Your LJ's 4-speed auto is none of those types you listed but I don't recall the exact model you do have. Contact B&M for what plans they have for the current 4-speed automatic used in current Wranglers and LJs.

:suicide: seriously he does know alot but he is not a god, If you have read the forums over the years you should gain enough knowledge to know all of these little jeep things. All it takes is time and an internet connection and you will know every nook and cranny of a jeep. This is by no means a bash on jerry as i appreciate him taking his time to answer people that dont like searching for answers.

And you can get only so much info from the web. At some point, you gotta get your hands dirty. Jerry gets his hands dirty a lot.

It would be a 3 speed shifter since it has an electric over-drive.
