No brake/hazard lights, or turn signals...

I know what you are thinking, and I replaced the relay thats in the steering column and nothing...

I don't get the tick tick sound and no lights on interior or exterior when I brake, or use turn signals or flashers.

I've checked fuses.

When I turn the lights on the rear lights come on, but still no brake lights.

Any advice?

Check the grounds. Sounds like a fuse problem as well.

Brake lamp circuit feeds through the turn signal multifunction switch. I'm guessing the switch needs to be replaced.

Online factory service manuals and parts lists - http://www.jeep4x4center.com/knowledge-base/index.htm
If it doesn't work properly, look for the service manual link at the bottom of the page.

I had the same problem about a week ago. I replaced blinker switch, then brake light switch, then I found out it was the fuse. I felt stupid, but the fuse was unlabeled. But I would check for grounds before buying a brake light switch. But never hurts to replace it. Good luck finding the gremlin.

I don't remember what they call the part but it is in the steering column. It is where all the wires that are controled from when you turn the key on. It is an elictrical and mechanical part because it has a linkage that comes from the key switch running to it. I had to replace mine awhile back. I had no radio, no blinkers, no horn , etc.

Yes the ones under the hood. I'm not home right now and I saw a tutorial online that showed fuses in the glove box?? Wasn't sure if those were in my jeep.

Stop lights, turn signals and hazards all work off different fuses so check all of the following fuses.

Under the hood - Fuse 3 (brake lamps), 22 (turn signals), 27 (hazards).
Behind the glove box - Fuse 2 (brake lamps), 13 (turn signals).

It could be the grounds at the rear lamps but as both lamps are affected I'm more inclined to suspect a fault switch.

SAME BOAT!
I have no emergency flashers, brake lights, or turn signals.
I replaced a bad brake light fuse...no solution. I swapped out the flasher relay on the steering column...no solution. I replaced the turn signal multifunction assembly...no solution.

I'm stumped!

Does she still start?

Check all wiring harness to and from steering column, I had one come undone after some work was done under the dash, it wasn't re-connected properly and looked connected, but it wasn't making full contact and was causing issues. Good luck!
