newer seats in older TJ

I have a 2000 Wrangler SE and my seats are done. I found a deal on some 03-06 wrangler seats.

So- will the 03-06 seats bolt right up to my jeep?

Anyone done this? Pics?? Color recommendations? Thanks a lot everybody.

I put some 03 TJ seat into my 97 TJ (same shot seat problem).
The only minor issue was I needed to drill a new hole in the rear most part of the seat risers to get the last seat mounting bolt of the seats to line up with the risers.

I installed 2004 seats in my 98 TJ. The front ones just bolted right in, for the rear seat I drilled some holes for the rear brackets.

Under the body; plenty of room after body lift to tight the nuts

All finish!

Hope this helps if someone else is thinking on installing newer style TJ seats in an older TJ

I'm in the middle of doing this. 04 seats into my 01. i drilled the holes for the seat risers, everything fits. my only question is where do I attach the seat belt to? I took it off the 01 and i cant seem to find a place to bolt them up on the 04. suggestions?
