New Question; Manual Lockers engaged by CABLE, who makes them?

I have seen the Ox, but I was hoping to spend less then 800 bucks for it. I have been looking at the aussie, but I was just told theyre bad in the snow which makes it useless to me. So just out of curiosity, who makes an inexpensive cable actuated locked for a d30?

The only cable-activated locker I know of is OX. ARBs are similar in function but are air-activated and not much cheaper. Detroit Electracs are electically activated.

Ox vs. Aussie is apples vs. oranges.

there are 3 basic types of locker: Selectable, Auto-full-carrier-replacement and auto-lunchbox.

The selectable and carrier replacement require a gear setup for installation... this is a professional-only job according to most people and is generally pricey. The Lunchbox is easily installed by a home mechanic. The Ox is a selectable and the Aussie is a lunchbox.

HTH, sorry if it's redundant info.

Pretty much all selectable ockers are going to cost a pretty penny. But if you drive on snowy roads often they would be worth the price. I know of no other cbale acuated lockers otehr than the OX. Maybe check out teh Tera Flex locker, It's possible that its cable acuated.....not sure.
