I like those. I think its a great idea and they look awesome. There is just something about a plastic fender that I dont like.

Hey Blaine, what do you think of this design for flat fenders? I know you don't like normal tube fenders, so I'm curious what you think about these and if you would ever run these or soemthing along the same idea.

Very nice, it’s good to see innovative products like this being introduced.

Close but when I drove it to work the first day & saw it in the daylight, the Krylon Fusion red is too orange. It's not as close as I thought it was inside the garage. I'm going to have some Flame Red enamel mixed up & put into a couple aerosol cans & repaint them.

Stu, I had allen head cap screws holding the side markers on at first but they looked too big so I replaced them with phillips head screws. I know the bright stainless doesn't look quite right as is, I'll probably paint the screw head & washer black when I repaint the fender... soon as I find my supply of "round tuits" that is.

Thanks for the compliments on the new fenders guys, I know the guys at MCE appreciate them.

Definitely liking these a lot. Still not sure if I want to do these or DIY tube fenders, thanks for making my purchasing decisions that much harder!

Hey Jerry, can you PLEASE pull the Heep out of the Garage and get some Outdoors shots (maybe a little further back) and more angles (front/back/side/top/bottom, etc).

Mine is starting to rust on all the parts you left on there. It looks like I'd have to buy and install new fenders only to cut them up to install that sweet kit.

MCE should think about making a Salt Belt Fender!! A new and neglected market!

Ill definitely be ordering a set of these in the near future. Any chance in the future in creating a piece that covers all of the rest of the fender that is exposed on the side, instead of the thin strip?

Definitely not in Oregon.
Or any state with fender laws, unless you run 7.00-16s with 5.5" backspacing.

But big kudos for the company for not asking retail $450 for some molded plastic pieces!

100% for sure not here in B.C. infortunately. I'm missing about 3/4's of an inch of coverage with my Xenon 6" flat flares running 12.5's with 4" BS and gthat's running dangerously for a V.I.. So this would be a no go and an instant V.I. from the authorities.

However, thank you Jerry for such a detailed write-up and exposing us to MCE. Guys at MCE: thank you (even though I won't be buying them for legal reasons) for making a needed product to fills a niche and making them so inexpensive. Kudos to you.

Great product and I'd buy them in a heart beat if the law would allow me to have exposed tires.

Jerry: great job, hope you love them, thank you for the write up and thanks to Joe for helping make the write-up possible. And...great license plate Jerry! I love it!

Once the outer fender is removed, it would be simple to cut and weld in new metal for the MCE fenders to mount to.

Having seen these fenders up close and personal, I can tell you that Mike and Jason have really done their homework.

Depending on where you live, this could be your inexpensive way to get rid of the typically wrinkled TJ fender.
