new lift.. dosen't seem to flex

i got my new lift and tires on. its the FT 3" with 1 1/4 spacers for now with 35's.. i'm netting about 3.5 -4 on the lift and it just dosen't seem to flex out i'm not sure why. i don't know if it has somethign to do with the newly installed 8.8 in the rear or what but i can't get it to flex out very well.

What shocks did you get to go with the FT 3" kit?

well 35's on a 3 inch lift isnt gonna let you flex gigantically.

post some pictures, are you disco'd? and like stated above if your shocks are bottoming out, its gonna stop your arms from traveling and flexing

Did you disconnect the sway bars? having 35's 3"-4" lift is not a lot of room for flex. Is it binding or anything?

ya i got the shock mounts moved and everything got that squared away. there sittign right at 35 degrees. and i wasen't even on the bump stops so i know that that is not the issue and i did haev it discoed. (well to be honest only on one side cuz the stupid FT swar bar discos are horrible, i'm going to order some JKS's) so that could be the culprit but it just didn't seem right. i'm runnign the FT 3-4" shocks do u think the shocks are too short?

I have the FT 3" kit with just the basic shocks that i came with and it flexes like crazy. The rear is a little on the stiffer side but the front will go anywhere. I'm not sure what to tell you but i know that the kit does in fact flex.

So you have 3" springs with 1-1/4" spacers? I dunno about your Jeep but I netted at least 3.5" of lift with FT springs alone, so you're likely sitting at about 4-1/2" of lift... on short arms.

You really should have long arms with that much lift. Make sure you're disconnected as well.

I would trade out the BB spacers for a body lift if you are indeed talking about spring spacers.

Also, if they are spring spacers, do you still have the FT 3" shocks? You'll need some 4.5" lift shocks to maximize flex.

And you really need to disco your swaybar... mine is fantastic when disco'd.

My passenger side front spring was unseated and about 2 inches away from falling out.

Drew,

What is the limiting factor when it droops?

Are the shocks fully extended?

Are the lower control arms hitting the axle brackets?
