New Jeep, New tires. 265/75/15 fit without lift?

Hey everybody. Not new to the forums just new to the TJ forums. I was hanging out in the WJ forums thinking I was going to get one. Anyway just bought a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sahara with 71k miles on it. Looks brand new. Green with tan hardtop, I'll try to get a picture up. So after comparing mine to my brothers (his is a '99 Sahara) I've noticed that he sits on 265/75/15 and the stocks are 225/75/15. Can you fit those without a lift? Because as far as I know his is all stock except a front bumper. I'm not good with tires or anything and I'm sure this has been covered a million times. Thanks for all the input!

I know this is an older thread, but it popped up when I searched. The answer to your question is, yes you can fit them stock. A 265/75/15 is the same dimensions as a 31x10.50/15.

Sheesh this is my firt TJ tech thread. Seems really old but it's only like 2 months old.

Well they sure are a tight fit under there. Looks like I might get him the RC 2" spacer kit for his birthday...
If he doesn't want it he can always sell it.
