New bumper, stinger or no stinger...I cant decide
I am looking to get a new front bumper. When I bought my jeep it has the tube style on it and I just cant grow to like um. So i have decided on 2 different ones.
No stinger ![]() Stinger ![]() I don't do any crazy 4wheelin but deffinatly do enough that I want some protection. Im wondering if the stinger is over kill, but i do like the protection for the winch. So what do you guys think, stinger or no stinger. ![]() Thanks! ![]()

![]() ![]() While I personally find the stinger bumper ugly as sin....they do serve a purpose This Jeep would have rolled to the right and flopped had that stinger not stopped him. I had a great view all the way around....I was the Jeep next in line and I am the Jeep pulling him out. |

If you want to protect your winch get a bumper with a winchguard hoop.
If you do trails where you risk front roll overs get a Stinger. If you are really just concerned about what the "in crowd" thinks is cool continue asking opinions on online forums. ![]()

This stuff is new to me. Stingers just look ridiculous to me, BUT if they really do offer a good amount of protection then I think I will get one. If they are mainly just for front rollovers I just don't know. Im just confussededed. But the winchguard hoop might be more what im looking for. |

We do not do many stingers anymore, but we do a bunch of the winch protector/tube guards on our front bumpers. They angle forward 10-15 degrees, but we can do whatever you want, too.
