New Battery and Indiana Wheelin Spots

Everytime i leave any electrical on or my stereo, which is powered with a 1000 watt amp, my battery goes dead within minutes. I am hoping i just need to replace my battery, which is the original and my Jeep is a 98. Any reccomendations on a decent battery that would have enough juice to power a good system without the engine on?
Also, if there Indiana wheelers out there, who know of any good wheelin' spots in south central indiana, around the bloomington area, it would be greatly appreciated if you would fill me in. Thanks - Alex

try the badlands in attica, and as for a battery, you cant go wrong with an optima.

Try an Optima. Also, make sure that your remote is triggering properly (i.e. turning your amp on and off as it should with the head unit)...if it is not turning your amp off, it will kill any battery with time.

I would also suggest the badlands. I've only had the chance to take my quad, not the jeep yet. But there were a ton of jeeps, and awesome places to wheel.
