Neutral Safety Switch

Anyone know how to access and test a neutral safety switch on an '05 TJ Unlimited?

Drivers side just above transmission pan.Is it that your backup lites aren't working?
SWITCH TEST
To test the switch, remove the wiring connector.
Test for continuity between the center terminal and
the transmission case. Continuity should exist only
when the transmission is in PARK or NEUTRAL.
Shift the transmission into REVERSE and test
continuity at the switch outer terminals. Continuity
should exist only when the transmission is in
REVERSE. Continuity should not exist between the
outer terminals and the case.
Check gearshift linkage adjustment before replacing
a switch that tests faulty.

Thanks, if it ever stops raining, I'll give it a look. My issue at this point is that I cant get teh engine to crank so I'm wondering if the switch is bad. Whether the back-up lights work or not is something to deal with later down the road.

I found 3 plugs on the drivers side of the tranny above the pan. There are two plugs that have two wires each and a third plug that is green and has more wires in it. Is one of these the one I'm looking for?
