Need some help with my Rubicon Locker`

So i installed a D44 rear out of a rubicon into my TJ, and i noticed there are two wires coming out of the diff, i think one is purple and the other black, is this a sensor that tells me when the locker is engaged or not? i checked for continuity when i turned the locker pump on and when i had it off and i wouldnt read anything, if anyone has more info on what these two wires are for that would be great!

You can get a switch that has a light on it. Wire the purple to the light side of the switch so that you don't have to wire it to another light or take anything else apart.

Hey Did you install any type of "saftey" switch to prevent the lockers from being engaged accidentally?

Also is that switch a spst dpst spdt or dpdt ?

How did you wire them in?
