Need a nother mind to help out here

Ok posted about 2 weeks ago that I went in a nasty mud hole, I got stuck in it and was just above the front bumper, The jeep tryed to die, keep giving it gas then it died, Ok got it home wont turn over nothing, Ok what else am I looking at here? We hooked up a reader to the computer and its giving us no codes(cause most jeep has to drive before they will) so my friend put the reader on something and it told use the starter was only kicking 150 RPMs (not enought to turn the motor) thats why I replaced the starter plus after takeing it out the starter gear would not turn , Got a new one, replaced the plugs, cleans the Crank Postion Sensor, Now I got the motor turning over but not fireing!! If you have ever heard a dead engine trying to start (making the wisleing sound),

There was no muddy water in oil, plus I kicked it over a few times with the plugs out to be safe no water came out, my next guess is how can I check to see if the coil packs are toast? and would that be my next guess here? any help would be great, cause I dont get it, My friends XJ was under water over the hood for 13 hrs we pulled it out and it started right up? I get stuck in a mud hole and only half my jeep was in it and mine is dead.

Thanks

Most people think rocks are hard on your rig, but mud has got to be the worst thing you can do to your rig. Next time avoid the mud.

Not being there makes it really hard to diagnose. You almost need to check all your sensors and everything under the hood for mud.

I cleaned it all out, Right now checking for the omhs for the Crank & Camshaft position sensor? Any one got those FAQ's, I got it for the coil pakc .71-.88 ohms.

Can some one post up here what the Crank & Camshaft position sensor ohms should be, So I can nerrow this down?

Yep mud is bad, and I have had it with mud!! Sticking to the rocks and what ever else

Once again, you're absolutely sure your exhaust system is free of mud? If it is plugged, your engine will crank but it won't start.

Clean the CPS off with a thorough rinsing using WD-40.

Check your vacumn hoses. A loose/cracked/plugged one might cause it not to start.

If it will start and run above an idle, with throttle partially open-then your TPS ThrottlePosition Sensor is dirty/bad. It will not run at an idle if that is the case.
