Need minor repair to hardtop
I have a very small chip, probably a 1/4 " jagged piece, out of a corner of my hardtop (2000 Sport model, factory hardtop). I'm going to be trading in my jeep soon, and I want to patch the chip and touch it up as best as possible to maintain the trade value. I couldn't find the piece that broke off, so I will have to try to fill it in.
Can anyone recommend an epoxy or other substance that will adhere well to the hardtop for this purpose? Thanks.

The product I used to repair a broken rear corner on mine was "Marine-Tex" (Gray). It also is available in white. I bought it at a place called "Boater's World", but any quality marine or boat access. store should have it. It'll set you back a whole three bucks!...It's a two-part epoxy. I actually re-formed and built up a missing section on my hard top about four months ago. I feather sanded the rebuilt area, primed w/red oxide, re-sanded and air-brushed in some OEM "Spice" automotive enamel. I was even able to texture a finish to match the original "bumpy" finish on the top. So far it's made it through an unusually hot northwest summer and now, a usually rainy fall. You cannot see the repair....Really!
