Need Help Wiring
so right now on my rig im running a uniden CB and PIAA lights, both i have connected right to my battery
.what i want to do is wire them to my starter or set them up so they wont be on or drain my battery when my car is off. any diagrams would help.

the PIAAs should be run through a relay and the relay should be turned on by a switch on your dash that is wired to 'switched' power. you can do the same thing with the CB radio-but wire the relay to turn on with the ignition.
there shouldnt be any draw from the relay in the 'standby' state. running a cb and PIAAs correctly should not kill your battery. i build emergency vehicles with 15 lights/lightbars/comps/modems etc. wire it right and you wont have any issues. look for relay diagrams here under the stickys or a search. i will be adding a diagram page to my sight soon too.
