Need help with gears

Got an 8.8. Going with 35's and an ARB. The issue I'm running into is what gear ratio to run. I can't get a definite answer because of all the variables.

Right now I'm running the 32RH and 3.73 with 33" tires. It's kind of a dog on inclines but it's bearable. I was thinking of running 4.56s but a few said it's too low and I should do 4.11s. I feel 4.11s and 35's will be just like the 33's and 3.73's. Anyone have any experience?

You are correct. You want 4.56 gears with a 35" tire and 32rh.

Stick or auto I have 06 stick and just put in 4.88 and I'm very happy with it so far. Haven't used low range yet hope to try it Saturday

Another vote for 4.56.

I ran 35s with the 3 speed auto and 4.56 for many years. It works well

I have also drove 4.10 geared TJs with 35s and the 3 speed auto. 4.10 was not deep enough.

Even 4.56 was not as deep as I would have liked at times, but it was a necessary sacrifice in order to go down the highway at somewhat reasonable RPM.

Copy that. It's going to be awhile until I have everything pieced together. Doing the SYE and tummy tuck first. Axle is getting put together this winter. ARB locker is going to empty my pockets.
