Need help with clunking

Hey guys I need help with a clunking noise coming from the rear of my rubi, the noise first came about backing up a hill in 2wd it was a really loud clunk I got out to inspect and found nothing, 1 week later I decided to spin the tires in the rain (stupid I know) and the same thing happened, then the same night coming home I turned off the highway and got the noise again same thing pulling into the driveway, the next morning the got under the jeep and could find nothing loose or broken and have not had any issues in 2 days, I am worried it may be the rear end any help will be appreciated

check your rear upper control arms......the bushings in mine went bad and are going bad in my 2nd set of them....its kind of annoying.....and yea...it does sound like somethings going horribly wrong. crawl under the jeep and watch the bushings where they mount to the frame up top and have someone rock the jeep back and forth kinda hard....it should start to make the noise and you should be able to see what is giving

Definately check all the bushings, I had that issue as well. Do you have a lift on the jeep? I also have this and before I got motor mounts I had a large clunking in the rear because the driveshaft angle. Its atleast something to look into.

I have an fabtec 4 inch lift, was on the jeep when i got it. theres also an tcase drop which im planning on getting rid of soon. i think my upper trac bar bushing is bad theres a good bit of play, i was also wondering about transmission mounts where are they besides the one on the bottom of the T case skid. Also has anyone used the new driveshaft from Twoods thats made for the rubicon? thanks guys
