Damn, we could have convinced him that was really crappy mileage and he should sell it really cheap to one of us.

how often do you make the trip, everyday, weekly, etc. reduce the number of trips, or car pool with someone else going the the same school.

190 miles on half a tank so 400 miles per tank. Sounds right? What are you expecting?

I cant remember the last time i got much over 200 out of a full tank of gas...i have to fill up between 190-210 every 2-3 days just driving to work in back...Jeeps are gas hogs but i wouldnt trade it for anything, i love it too much. I might by a second car once i hit 200K, im at 184K right now

OMG LOLZ ROLF!!!!

I would advise 3 things:

1. Search before posting.
2. Take a deep breath before posting. Maybe close your eyes and countbackwards from 10 first.
3. Be happy that youre getting better gas mileage than a lot of us.

GAWD! I've got a 99 with a 2 inch lift at 31's.. no other serious mods, running stock bumpers etc. with nothing but a short stinger on the front and I think I'm getting between 15 and 17 mpg. And I just started a new job where I'm putting 85 or 90 miles on it per day... I've already got 177K miles on it.

I have the fuel sipping 2.4 + 6 speed combo and I'm only getting 17ish mpg on 33s. I haven't seen 19mpg since it was sitting on 30x9.5 a/ts.

19? Sounds good. You lift it and get tires and your dad's really going to be pissed!

Dude, I'm lucky to get 200 miles out of a tank! I'd kill for that type of mileage

OH NOES! With my 304 and Automatic and Full time 4x4 TCase I was lucky to get 10 MPG zomg /end of world

To actually address your question though. It would help if we knew what kind of mileage you were getting prior to installing these items. Additional weight certainly won't help your fuel economy (/giggle @ Jeep and fuel economy...sorry, back on track now) but if you've suddenly had your MPG halved or something similar then there are probably other issues at play here. When was the last time you did a full tune up? How do your spark plugs look? When did you last change your fluids?
