With even up to a 4" suspension lift I have known people to run a t-case drop and 1" MML with a viable angle for the rear drive shaft to not be considered "temporary". Also it may not be considered necessary to get an adjustable track bar, or relocate the current front track bar to get a "good alignment" but with an axle even slightly offset to one side you could be tortured with unexpected vehicle reactions, and also not tracking down the road straight despite the alignment. Me personally I am looking into a phased lift with the 3.25" RC lift being the first step and the 1" body mount lift by Prothane being second, followed last by a MML which could give up to 4.25" of lift and still save some money while getting more articulation. What are the opinions of everyone with the RC lift? do you like it? Just trying to decide between that and the 4" Skyjacker lift

Check my build thread in my sig. I've been running this lift for several months. It's hardly settled any at all, and performs great off road. Edit: I've had the lift since march, and the mileage is around 8k miles.

To the OP, did you redrill the front trackbar bracket ? Mine did not need it.

hey, can anyone tell me if their front springs look anything like this or if I have some kind of a problem. the part that holds the bump stop doesnt look like it ligns up right with the spring. I know, I dont have bump stops in because they were in horrible shape and since i dont off road any, i shouldnt have any problems. It looks like the springs are in a bind causing them to have a bow in them. I cant figure out what is causing it or how to fix this or if its normal. the pics were taken on flat ground and both sides look the same.

Thanks
Todd

The longer the spring you use, the more the axle rotates causing the axle spring perch to no longer be parallel to the frame perch. Not uncommon.

Also, If you have it apart to add bumpstops, I'd swap the isolator and spring spacer as the factory isolator will hold up better to the spring than the spacer. The spacer can sometimes become distorted by the spring.

Also if the coil being like that really makes you uncomfortable you can always buy adjustable lower arms to determine the pinion angle and also realign the sprinch mount on the axle to the spring cup on the frame. Just food for thought.

I didn't initially as it was still pretty straight. Although, after adding front bumper and winch, the front dropped slightly (probably not even enough to tell but it drove me nuts) so I pulled the 3/4" spacer and put in a 1.5" spacer. I then needed to drill for the front track bar. It's worked out fine so far.

ah, im pretty well ok with it, now that im hearing that its fairly normal. Ill just let it ride. May get around to doing something about it at some point, but for now its not gonna bother me that much.

Thanks
Todd
