As for feedback, I run the 4 inch x series WITH a tcase drop on it and NO sye/cv. This is only temporary for me right now. I plan on doing it by the end of summer. But to answer your question yes it can be done.

3.73 gears with 33x12.50-15 is just fine. You can only really feel it on a windy day. I'm pretty sure I have some fuel issues though which once I get those alleviated, I'll be better off.

1. did you just use the T - Case drop kit and no CV/SYE?
2. does it ride as good as stock (vibration or bump steer)?
3. is it truly 3.5 inches higher than it was?
4. did you get the 2.2 shocks or are they the nitro ones (I here the 2.2 shocks are a lot nicer on the raod).

I am thinking of getting the 4 inch X series: http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_4x.html

I am almost afraid because my jeep rides so good... I want to keep the same ride quality.

nice work, your jeep looks great.
1. I ended up using the t-case drop after all. I had light vibes. I'll do a CV/SYE as funds allow.
2. Personally the ride is almost identical to stock. Maybe slightly better.
3. Total lift gained was right at 2.75". No clue just how much my factory springs were sagging. I'm perfectly fine with the amount.
4. I got the 2.2 shocks that came in the kit and I love them. I wish they made them for YJs because I'd get a set for my girl's YJ. They ride NICE.

Agreed, but a viable option would be to get a used t-case with the SYE already installed. I've seen them for $175, and the you have a spare t-case.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

are the adjustable track bars necessary or optional for the 3.25 kit? I have read post after post and I think I am getting more and more confused with each one. seems hit or miss with the 2.5 kit, if I understand right, but how bout this kit? I know this is a probably newbie question, but I finally had to give in and ask.

Go to the RC website, it has very detailed descriptions and pictures of kit contents and options.

This kit comes with a rear track bar bracket.
