Looks good!

In the future and if you decide to add the spacer in the back, it will be WAY easier to get your spring out if you take out the rubber bumpstop and unbolt the bumpstop cup. You would probably not have needed spring compressors to get them in if the bumpstops had been removed.

Wouldn't it show up on Alignments readings??

Sorry...I don't mean to hijack!

With 3.25" of lift it's not possible for your front axle to be centered without addressing the front track bar in some way. Even with a 2" BB your front axle will be off.

Just take a look and compare how far your tires are sticking out from the flares on each side. You'll be able to see a difference with the naked eye.

About taking out the bump stops, how do those come out? I thought about it but honestly couldn't see a way. I'm guessing that there's a torx that runs in the middle of the bumpstop?

I could definitely see not having to use a compressor on the front springs with the bump stops out. That would give lots of extra room.

looks great..
just my 2 cents but i like a slightly higher look in the front. i plan on doing my tj setup just the way you have yours now.

instead of redrilling mount i would get an adjustable front track bar. just in case you go bigger later..

These are just a wee bit crusty, but you get the idea:

So the bumpstops are glued in or pressed in and the cups have a bolt? Am I seeing that right? That doesn't look too bad then.

Thanks for posting the pic.

The bumpstops just press into the cup and the cup is bolted in. It helps to grease em up a bit when putting the bumpstops back in. When you get bumpstop extensions, at least for the rear, you will get a spacer and a longer bolt to bolt the cup back in. Some of the front bumpstop extension (like my RE ones) just bolt a spacer to the bottom spring perch.

nice job... I didnt see you say, so I will ask:

1. did you just use the T - Case drop kit and no CV/SYE?
2. does it ride as good as stock (vibration or bump steer)?
3. is it truly 3.5 inches higher than it was?
4. did you get the 2.2 shocks or are they the nitro ones (I here the 2.2 shocks are a lot nicer on the raod).

I am thinking of getting the 4 inch X series: http://www.roughcountry.com/jeep_tj_4x.html

I am almost afraid because my jeep rides so good... I want to keep the same ride quality.

nice work, your jeep looks great.

remember the 4" needs the SYE/CV. that is really the only thing holding me back from the 4". it seems that once you jump above the 2.5" SL, you gotta buy a ton of extras to not get vibes, among other problems

I was told the same for the SYE however I was also told it’s OK to use the T Case drop for a short period till I could get the CV/SYE.... still looking for feedback there. I plan on getting the kit and looking for a used CV/SYE kit to install... I figure should be like half price or so?
