So you removed the factory fog lights and connected the KC lights to the old fog light wiring up front?

That pretty well backs up the above advice that you need to replace the MFF (turn signal) switch. That you can get the KC lights to momentarily shut off by moving the MFF switch very likely means the relay is ok and that its contacts are not welded shut as can happen.
