Where in Idaho are you located? Idahojeep is up in McCall and has one of the sickest Jeeps here, if I were back there I'd be wheeling with him when I could.

Sounds like a really nice build - I will look forward to watching your progress.
4 or 5 days sounds incredibly ambitious - but maybe I am just slow. Do you have a crew of 4 or 5 guys working on this? ![]()

I will be driving by Burley a week from today on my way to Moab. Maybe you should think about taking another week off and follow me to Moab. ![]()

Hey that would be great! Yeah I am doing everything myself. This is the 3rd jeep I have build and am getting pretty good at it. I am hoping to have it wheeling by next weekend. as for Moab I would love to but cannot. I own a excavation company and have to be around. My big hang up right now is the fact that in my shop I have no 220 power and it is getting put in monday. I think i should have it pretty much done by Wednesday though. When you come through either to or from you should stop by it would be cool to chat. How do you like your fenders? They are the same ones I have coming. Mine wont be in for about a month I was told today though

Thanks for the support guys!!! I got quite a bit done today and have a few pics. I will get them up later. I got 80% tore down and got my axles set up (5:13 gears, lockers, chromalloy shafts and Super joints, and the high steer). That was the big ticket today. They are ready to bolt in other than I have to cut a couple of brackets off and weld the rear truss on. I still have the skids, exhaust, and the transfer case to take out. More or less.
I am going to start opening the boxes tomorrow, Geeseee that is going to take to longest out of the whole build !!! It was a good day all in all for doing EVERYTHING myself. Might cheet tomorrow and have my wife help open the stuff up! YES I will get some pics of that! I will get some pics up tonight I hope. The way it is looking I am going to have a good yard sale too... ![]() ![]() |
