^^^ Good question about the ABS. I've been wanting to ditch my unit for years now.

I believe the black plastic box under the battery is somehow connected to the vent selector. Mine wouldn't switch vent modes well at all, and when I did a fender replacement I fixed a split in what looked like a vacuum line to that little box and now it switches vents great.

Same here. I priced out the replacement lines from the dealer and it was close to $200 for the lines and proportioning valve.

If I remember correctly, there are two tubes leaving the master cylinder going into the proportioning valve. From the proportioning valve there are two tubes going to the ABS unit (if I'm not mistaken). The ABS unit then splits this into 3 lines, two going to the front brakes and one going to the back. I think that if I can find two flexible high pressure hoses and a Y fitting, I can connect one outlet of the proportioning valve to the front brakes using a Y fitting, and the other outlet to the rear brakes. I'll look into it in more detail tonight.
As far as brake fluid pressure is concerned, the guy with the hemi told me that all the competition guys use the master cylinder off a Mercedez truck which pumps a lot more pressure than the stock cylinder. I'll have to do some research on this, otherwise my next purchase will be a Vanco brake kit.

I did a Hemi swap with the help of a couple of friends. It was fairly easy. (expensive, but easy). I had few bugs to work out. There is allot of support available on the internet, if you spend the time looking. Feel free to PM me if i can answer any of your questions relating to the swap.

Hey thanks! I just might take you up on that offer. One problem which I know I'll be facing (but I'm not there yet) is how to hook up the A/C compressor. I doubt it will fit in the stock location. Do you have a build thread which I can follow?

Thanks! Thesaloniki is beautiful. Congrats on the graduation. That's the first step to saving up cash!

Just looked at the FSM. I was right. I just don't have to go through all the trouble to modify this with aftermarket parts. I just need to find a TJ without ABS and get the necessary parts.

If you have a couple of questions, you may want to jump on Expedition Portal and contact forum member OS-Aussie, he had a TJ with a Grand Cherokee 5.7L. Chris & Tony Squire @ Hotwire Auto can also give you some good advice. Check out their gallery for some good pics, especially Chris' TJ (the white one).

Ahhh I sold it already. I do have a 32RH (with the breather mod and deep sump pan) and possibly an NP231 for sale as well as some other stuff... snorkel, fenders, engine skid plate. Once I'm done with the project I'll let you know.

Good to see more Greek guys on the forum and doing fun builds!!! i had my 2000 TJ on Kasos Island from 2000-2004 then had to bring it back to the states since i had american tags on it... they wanted ~20K euro to transfer it to greek tags... we brought it back and bought a vw bettle but the jeep was fun cruising around on the island. Always wanted to bring it back... we'll see what happens.

20K cause you didn't have the right contacts. You've seen how it is here first hand. If you're ever in the area let me know!
