My first hard top Leaking problem !
I just bought my first hardtop and it's leaking a little on the right side of the back carpet behind the rear seat seat. Also the wiring harness cover on the back driver's side is a little damp. Does anyone have an idea or is this common? Maybe hardtop seals or leaking inside the fiberglass hardtop?

I have the same problem. I get water on the passenger side Rear floor. I held a hose to the hardtop ect and no leak???? But after it rains, the rear floor on the passenger side is always soaked.!! I cannot figure out why.

Same here. I think mine leaks at the seal where the rear glass and tailgate meet.

It is strange, my soft top only leaks (onto the front passenger floor) during a very hard rain which is rare around here, but the rear carpet under the rear window gets soaked with the hard top on even during a light rain or snowfall.

This may be obvious, but have you guys checked the wire harness for the rear wiper?
On a TJ I used to own, I had a leak in the back, and that was the problem. When I closed the rear glass, that harness got caught in the weatherstripping, causing the leak. One wire tie under the plastic cover took care of the problem for good. |
